The first phase of the project has a design production capacity of 50,000 (after many times of upgrading later, in 2006 it reached 200,000 capacity). The construction content consists of stamping, welding, painting, general assembly, the four workshops, as well as offices, canteens and other ancillary production facilities. China Auto Engineering undertook the engineering design, welding and part of the equipment of the assembly line, as well as the general contracting of the secondary pipelines of the brand new joint venture.
